The State of New Jersey has enacted New Jersey’s Electronic Waste Management Act (N.J.S.A.
13:1E-99.94 et seq.) that requires manufacturers of covered electronic devices (televisions,
portable, desktop or personal computers, and computer monitors), whose products are sold in the
State to participate in a recycling program. Manufacturers, either individually, or as part of a
group, must establish, conduct and manage a plan to collect, transport and recycle covered
devices. AERCCR provides a group plan in compliance with the Electronic Waste Management Act.

A consumer who cannot physically get to a collection site without assistance or a consumer with
a heavy 50 pounds in weight or heavier) and/or unwieldy covered electronic devices, including,
but not limited to, flat screen televisions with screens greater than 40” measured diagonally,
