AER Worldwide
From AER’s inception, its mission has been two-fold: 1) to support global electronics producers in risk management of the brand protection and environmental issues when their products come off the market; and 2) to help create a clean, ethical, and environmentally sound reverse global supply chain for the electronics industry.
In order to satisfy this mission, AER operates in both the developed and developing world, having expanded from its Silicon Valley base into Mexico, Malaysia, India, and Europe in the last three years. Also to support this mission, AER is a charter member of the United Nations coordinated group, StEP, Solving the E-waste Problem, and a leader in the Reuse Task Force for the past three years.
AER operates using ISO14001, with our corporate headquarters certified three years ago, our Malaysia site certified in early 2007 and our other two sites to be certified in 2009. We use the same ISO 14001 documented processes in each site. We developed our own reverse manufacturing and material harvesting and resale IT system and use this system at each of our sites.
AER is a strong believer in the environmental and economic benefits of electronics reuse in a manner that supports our customers’ brand protection requirements and as such we are also an independent stocking distributor of electronic materials.
